Suspense by Rachel Dylan

I think Deadly Proof is the first Rachel Dylan book that I've read, and I can say that I enjoy her suspense! This is the first book in her Atlanta Justice series.

Overview from the publisher: In the biggest case of her career, attorney Kate Sullivan has been appointed lead counsel to take on Mason Pharmaceutical in a claim involving an allegedly dangerous new drug. She hires a handsome private investigator to do some digging, but when a whistleblower is found dead, it’s clear the stakes are higher than ever. Will this case prove deadly for Kate?

It's suspenseful with good twists and turns
It weaves elements of faith throughout character struggles, but not in a preachy way
Well developed characters with believable stories
Unique situations and setttings.
A little romance, but told in a PG manner
Elements of friendship, loyalty, character, forgiveness, nd pride.

Theology for Caring Adults Training Children

Product Details

Talking with Your Kids about God: 30 Conversations Every Christian Parent Must Have is a new release by Natasha Crain and Sean McDowell. It's a basic look at Christian theology with an overview of various topical areas including scriptures, examples, key points to cover, and a conversation guide to help you cover tough theology with teens. The conversation guide has 3 components: questions to intro the topic, how to advance the topic (go deeper), and how to apply the conversation. It's packed with solid content for curious, philosophical, and theological minds. It's a great resource for parents and youth mentors as they navigate meaningful conversations. Topics include:
- the existence of God
- science and God
- the nature of God
- believing in God
- the difference God makes

That being said, it's not what I envisioned when I saw the title & read the description. I was imagining something a little easier to digest with topics to discuss to help your children grow up to be godly people that live their daily lives soaking in God's word and reflecting his character. It's not the tool I was hoping it would be, but if you are looking for a resource that helps you understand how to discuss theology with your kids, this book truly knocks it out of the park.

Great resource for christian parents of toddlers

I've found a great new resource for training young children regarding the Bible and it's applications for daily living. According to the publisher, "The Character Builder’s Bible highlights core character traits that the Bible teaches and suggests fun, practical ways to live out these truths so that little minds can understand."

The book outlines 60 character traits, values, and Christian tenants. Each trait/value/tenant is accompanied by an easy-to-read Bible story, animated illustrations, and memory verses. The character traits include topics such as obedience, patience, unselfishness, faith, compassion...

I highly recommend this book for parents with children ages 4-7, and I can't wait to use this with my toddler! It would also be a nice gift book from another caring family.
